On Saturday 22 June, His Eminence Archbishop Sergios travelled to Durban. A meeting was held with the Ambassador of Greece Mr. Spyros Theocharopoulos,the Ambassador of Cyprus, Mr. Petros Nacouzis, the Consul of Durban Mr.Savvas Stylianou, the Consul of Swaziland Mr.Vasilis Athienidis and the chairman of the Hellenic community of KwaZulu-Natal Mr.Sotiris Stavrinou. Various topics were discussed pertaining to the challenges facing the motherlands of Greece and Cyprus and other issues relating to the communities of KwaZulu-Natal and Swaziland.
