On Sunday 19 January, the teachers and children from Saint Georges Sunday School celebrated the start of their New Year with a Vasilopita (Saint Basil’s sweet bread).
After the service everyone congregated into the hall and His Eminence Archbishop Sergios was invited to bless the Vasilopita with Reverend Fr.Nikolaos and Deacon Fr.Michael.
The Vasilopita was cut by His Eminence and Michali Comitis was the lucky recipient of the coin.
