On Friday 5 April, His Eminence officiated at the Vespers Service of the Third Salutation to the Theotokos at the the Church of the Dormition of the Mother of God, in Port Elizabeth. He also officiated at the service of the Holy Eucharist on Sunday 7 April which included the Feast of the Veneration of the Holy Cross. After the service, the community hosted an informal tea in the church hall where His Eminence was able to spend time with the church members and their children. His Eminence also had the opportunity to meet with community leaders and their committees to discuss community and Church matters, and the impending arrival of the new priest in Port Elizabeth soon.
